Welcome to the The New Stables
The New Stables is a new build, built on the footprint of the old stables and coach house.
The property comprises of 2 bedrooms one king size on the ground floor with wet room and one double on the first floor with en-suite. Both have showers (and sensor lights), electric towel rails and shaver points.
Downstairs is an open plan lounge and kitchen, with a second lounge area on the mezzanine floor.
Behind the property is a small secure garden with a patio area with an outdoor tap for washing those muddy walking boots.
The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
Bed linen, towels and toilet rolls are included. The lounge has a smart TV and access to free Wi-Fi.
Off street parking for 2 cars. We do not have EV charging available, although there are charging points in Melbourne located at the Melbourne Assembly Rooms on High Street, approximately 1 mile away.
About Us
We are Jayne and Nigel, and we own and run The New Stables.
Nigel’s family have farmed this land for over 100 years and Nigel is the 3rd generation farmer.
We farm winter wheat and beans which is drilled in September/October and harvested in August the following year. It is fertilised and sprayed during the year to assist in growing.
We have two very friendly border collies that live with us and notify us of anyone around the property.
